Harrison's Neonate handfeeding formula 350 gram

Is being used for :
- hand raising baby birds from hatching to 1-3 weeks old..
- for young birds that need an easy source of nutrients.
- it has a smooth texture which makes it well accepted by young birds until they can eat on their own.
- also a nutritious diet for hand-raising from hatching to independent eating of various songbirds, such as swallows, robins, starlings, finches, etc..

Nutritional advice
Caution: Feeding the bird should be done carefully and correctly to avoid injury or inhalation of the formula, which could result in pneumonia or death.

- Step 1 : Gently feel the crop to see if it is almost empty before you start feeding.

- Step 2 : Mix fresh : 1 part dry formula to 1-3 parts water heated to about 30 degrees Celsius. Not in the microwave. Adjust the thickness of the formula if necessary.

- Step 3 : Feeding with a syringe is the most successful way.

Step 4: Feed the bird until the crop is full, but not overcrowded. It should feel like a soft cushion. Remove food remains from the bird's beak, feathers and from the enclosure.

Step 5 : Small species older than 21 days and larger species older than 7 days must switch to Juveling Hand-Feeding Formula.
